CYLINDRICAL TWIST DRILLS WITH STEPPED GEOMETRY

The special stepped tip geometry (ø ≥ 3 mm) allows for extremely precise holes in terms of size and perfectly circular in shape. Ideal for manual use in operations requiring excellent precision, particularly on thin sheets, aluminium profiles, etc.

The STEP+ drill bit is 30% faster than a traditional twist drill bit: the hole starting phase, facilitated by the reduced diameter of the centring tip, is extremely quick. The hole is then rapidly enlarged as the diameter of the steps increases.

Made from high-quality HSS AISI M2 steel, the STEP+ drill bit guarantees consistent performance and prolonged service life even under intensive use. Ideal for drilling alloyed and highly alloyed steels with R ≤ 900 N/mm², stainless steel, iron, aluminium, metals in general, plastics, and wood.

The stepped geometry optimally combines maximum drilling speed with high user comfort: indeed, the STEP+ never "tears", the hole is made smoothly without generating excessive torque.

The split point on the centring tip also ensures easy positioning even on curved and difficult surfaces such as tubes, and does not require pre-drilling or centre punching.

STEP+ is also extremely practical for enlarging pre-existing holes and is effective on various solid materials such as plastic and wood.
