8% COBALT TWIST DRILLS, EXTRA SHORT SERIES

Helical drill bit with 8% cobalt (AISI M42), fully ground finish, extra short series, 130° split point sharpening, standard helix angle of 27°, recommended drilling depth up to 3 times the tool diameter.

The high cobalt content (and molybdenum) makes this drill bit particularly resistant to mechanical and thermal stresses and, therefore, suitable for machining stainless steel and heat-resistant steels, all high-alloy steels, and very tough alloys (Ni Cr steels, Hastelloy, Nimonic, Inconel).
