8% COBALT TWIST DRILLS, FULLY GROUND, SHORT SERIES

Drill bit with 8% cobalt (AISI M42), fully ground design, short series, 130° split point sharpening, standard helix angle of 27°, recommended drilling depth up to 5 times the tool diameter.

The high percentage of cobalt (and molybdenum) makes this drill bit particularly resistant to mechanical and thermal stresses and, therefore, suitable for machining stainless steel and heat-resistant steels, all high-alloy steels and very tough alloys (Ni-Cr steels, Hastelloy, Nimonic, Inconel).
