The high percentage of cobalt (and molybdenum) makes this drill bit particularly resistant to mechanical and thermal stresses and, therefore, it is suitable for machining stainless steel and heat-resistant steels, all high-alloy steels, and very tough alloys (Ni-Cr steels, Hastelloy, Nimonic, Inconel).
