The term “gres” indicates that the process the tiles have undergone has made them highly grésified, which in ceramics means a kind of «sintering» of the grains that occurs in the material before firing and generates the high resistance (level 8 on the Mohs scale, which goes from 1 to 10, with diamond at level 10) and the almost zero porosity of the final product.
